CASE IN POINT
Project: Design and manufacture a high-pressure steam separator vessel for a major Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) facility
The high-pressure steam separator shown below was designed for a large SAGD project in northeast Alberta and had strict requirements for removal efficiency. Bilton incorporated vane pack technology into the separator's design to guarantee 99.9% removal efficiency of 9 micron and larger droplets from a gas volume of 439,037 kg/h plus the removal of 20 micron and larger droplets during a 19:1 turndown in volume.
