Journeyman and Apprentice Welders

By the application of common trade practices, which may include, but is not limited to,

Requirements,

• Registered with Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training
• Experience and knowledge of welding process specifications
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and weld procedures
• Work within and adhere to Health & Safety Policies and guidelines
• Self motivated, with an excellent work ethic

Duties,

• Lay out, fit and weld components to assemble structural forms such as tanks, pressure vessels, and various other items as needed
• Install structural parts, components, and assemblies in support of production schedules
• Complete records
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Perform various clean-up and housekeeping activities
• Other duties as required

Previous experience with frames, tanks, and vessels is an asset
